    Roy's Nutz & Buttz catered our wedding in November with their food truck. Prior to the event we got together to discuss the menu options and they were very flexible. My husband and I were extremely happy with all aspects of the job. The food was awesome and all the guests loved it. We had friends and family from all over the world and everyone raved about all the food. We highly recommend this local veteran owned business to anyone.

    I'm a bit of a BBQ snob and let me tell you this place is where it's at. The pork falls apart in your mouth. ALL of the sauces are on point. And the Brunswick Stew is easily some of the best I've ever had. 
    The people behind this operation are great and really down home friendly.

Our Story

The Amazing Story of Roy’s Nuts & Buttz

Our goal is to provide great food and a great experience at a fair price. Roy has always been an amazing cook. He has perfected the art of smoked meats over the past 20 years and is great at what he does.

We decided to purchase a food truck in 2015 and the business has taken on a life of its own. Mandy leaving the corporate world was only a dream until she got her MBA in 2016.  Opening our takeout was a no brainer.

Watching it grow and hearing how people loved what we offer encouraged us to take the huge leap and open a restaurant at 101 E Highway 80 in Bloomingdale. We are open 5 days a week and even have a meeting room that can be rented for private meetings, lunches, parties, showers, etc. 

We are fortunate to do what we love every single day. The fact that we get to do it together only makes it better. Come by and find out why we say #SmellsLikeSunday.
