I auditioned in person 3 times for @Lthutton along with others for the role of Danielle before being offered the role. Once it was set time, it was amazing! LT said ” I told you you got it” I said, “you sure did, thank you.” They invited me to set a day early and I was able to watch the scene with Jada and Pac when she was on set for the show A Different World. Being on set is like being with a big family. We laugh together, work together and eat every meal together. You make new friends, like co actor @ Brandon Sauve who played my dad and record mogul Ted Field and you see people that you worked with before especially on the crew side. I will never forget when they prepped for my scene with Pac and set everyone clear the set and being the rule follower I am I walked with the crew and heard not you Danielle, not you.lol I quickly got in place and the scene was set. My scene was the waiting room for Interscope records with various 1990’s gold records on the wall such as Markie Mark and The Funkie Bunch to Tom Petty. Being a huge fan of 1990’s music I was in heaven. My favorite Pac songs are Dear Mama and Changes. I am honored to have been a small part in helping tell his story. His songs had meaning and truly changed the world of rap music. Go check out All Eyez On Me if you haven’t already. Thank you for your support.
It was great to be featured for my acting for the news paper where I live. Evelyn Fallon did a wonderful job writing this article for me and I am super grateful for her support. It was very special and a surprise to me to read the article and see my acting coach Anthony Paderewski and former teacher Dustin Barnwell contribute to this article about me and my career. They are both huge mentors to me and my acting career.
